I wish I had an exciting story to share about why I chose to become a nurse. But I don’t. In some ways, I pulled nursing out of a hat and decided to see if it would stick (it did!). I graduated from the University of Portland, in Portland, OR, and now have over 10 years of experience. My specialty areas of practice have included Pediatrics, Adult Health, Geriatrics, Case Management, Community Health, Wound Care, Palliative, and End-of-life Care.
I am currently working as a freelance nurse writer and enjoy collaborating with clients to provide them with high-quality content. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and exploring the Pacific Northwest.
